Beach GuideIntroduction |
Select the region of your choice from the map. More regions will be added soon. Welcome to the beginnings of the Forces-of-Nature UK Beach Guide. My final aim will be to describe as many of the UK's beaches as possible, but emphasis will be paid to those suitable for coastal sports such as windsurfing, surfing, kite-surfing, kite-buggying and any other 'forces-of-nature' driven sport. So far only Wales is covered, but I will soon move on to describe the beaches of the North West and the Isle of Man and then the South West Coasts of England. Hopefully the guide and the associated caravan and camping directory will be useful not only to those of you into 'forces-of-nature' sports but to tourists and holidaymakers too. Compiling this beach guide is a long slow process, so please be patient. and as usual please e-mail me with any comments, suggestions or problems. Obviously although I would love to, I cannot fully research all the beaches on my own, so I need you to submit entries for locations not yet listed. In order to make this easier I have provided an easy to complete form so you can provide the information needed.
