Hunstanton (Sailing Club)

Long sandy beach. Water up to sea wall at spring highs and a bit of a walk at low but not too bad.

The sailing club is where it says Hotel on the map. The square box on the beach is the rebuilt pier head which is adjacent,

hunstanton Fact File

kitesurfing at hunstanton is awesome all the same directions of wind apply as to windsurfing it is great for flat water kiting and is shallow so u can stand it most times(dependant on tides) when the tide is high it can be a bit dangerous for the novice as there are groins on the beach, but at low tide there is loads of beach to launch from,it is a very popular spot for kiting now and can have up to 30 kites out on a busy day, loads or shops and amenities close by so the partner will not be bored whilst your kiting, there is parkin on the sea front but the parking in front of the sailing club is for members only, sailing club is great all very freindly hunstanton takes around 2.45hr drive from birmingman but well worth a visit, there is also a kitboarding shop there called Oceanside for any spares u may need and also superb B&bs and camp sites nearby alternativly you can travel 5 mins round the corner and kite at old hunstantan with parking at the top of the beach behind the sand-dunes so you have a choice of 2 spots
