23rd July 2009 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: 18-30 knots Surf / Sea State: 2-3 fot surf Air Temperature: 18ºC Sea Temperature: 17ºC Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: A perfect session. A little marginal at first so went out with the 5.6m and my big board (S-Type 105). There was just enough wind to start with for a lovely blast across the blue waters. Sailed out to the bar a couple of times and then had a rest. Wind then filled in and I was maxed out so blasted across to Graveyards and then all the way into Borth a couple of times. Flat out from Graveyeards to Borth took 9 minutes... Not bad! Loads of big jumps and some perfect maxed out sailing conditions in the sun. Wind wa actually around 25 knots when I got off the water with gusts to 30 knots. |
