3rd November 2009 Windsurfing: Ynsylas Wind Direction: WNW Wind Stength: 20-25 knots Surf / Sea State: 3 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 12ºC Sea Temperature: 13ºC Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: A nice, but short session in between lots of others things today. Only had 1.5 hours to spare so quickly headed across to the beach, got rigged up and went out on my Naish and 5m sail. Nicely powered most of the time and had a quick 'hour of power' blasting out through the waves and riding them back in. I haven't been out on my Niash for a while and loved it, it is such a fun board to sail. Of course, decided to have just one more run and the wind dropped off a little making it a struggle to get back, but I managed in the end. The wind filled in properly for a while once I got home too, blowing at around 30 knots which would have been lovely. Still, at least I got out. |
