14th November 2009 Windsurfing: Hunstanton Wind Direction: S Wind Stength: F6 - 7 Surf / Sea State: Flat to wavelets Air Temperature: 12 Sea Temperature: OK Weather: Started sunny ended wet Max Speed: Distance Covered: Just a narrow channel of flat water creating a gybatorium (Rob_S's word) for a while until the tide flooded. Mainly on a 4.5/86 but later as it got too windy to hang onto & the water developed lumps changed to my old 3.9 Scrambler. Oh dear - what a bag of sh*t, time for a new 4.0. Maybe I should have put a hole in it like -LBJ- did with his. When a gust hit it bloody hit so soon after packed in. Great day - not many out - good to see Alistair & k-101 there. And poor old Mungo who went arse over tit on a wave on his first run & knackered his ankle making for an early, and no doubt painful, bath. Speedy recovery mate. |
