Sea Temperature: 13
Weather: sunny
Max Speed: 33.31 (knots - unless stated otherwise)

After last weekends nightmare at Portland, where I rigged stood at the start of the course and decided against it, as 50 + mph winds was not a good time to try out the speedboard for the first time !!!! So when I heard that Ian and Lance were going to The Ray I decided to give it a try with a couple of proper speedsailers !!! So we met up at 7 hummed and harred about sail size and I went with 6.4 although to be honest I was abit under :( With the wind square on the bottom course you had to bear off into the middle of the Ray on the corner to get the best speeds which was not brilliant as you were sailing in the roughest water !!! but considering it was the first time out on the Falcon speed I was happy with the result even if I am off the pace of the more experienced sailers.I had a few runs up the creak so I did'nt have to walk so far back !!! Great to be out in the mild and sunny conditions and home by 1.30 :)
