I seem to have forgotten lesson #1: take all your kit. As a consequence I had a 2 hour fight with a 6m rig, when a 5 would have been spot on. Still, good to get my sea legs back again. First few minutes were rather dodgy, overpowered and gusty, but I soon got settled into it. No problems with temperature - I decided to go with mitts but probably could have done without. Only 6 on the water today which was a surprise considering it was the first sensible sailing day in nearly 3 months.
