14th March 2010 Windsurfing: Rutland Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: F4 Surf / Sea State: Flat to wavelets Air Temperature: 10 Sea Temperature: 3c Weather: Sunshine & cloud, dry. Max Speed: Distance Covered: Rutland 6.5/103. Passed on a trip to Sunny Hunny as the forecast didn't justify it - was pretty much set on taking the Shiney Bike out after seeing the Local Lycra Fetishists Road Club gathering outside the pub on me way to Buy & Queue but thought Rutland a punt. It was ok - some usual regulars there, the odd blast followed by a wallow, warm in the sunny bits and not too cold in the cloudy bits but very cold in the big wet bit. Blowing down the north arm meant a lot of potential which unfortunately wasn't delivered but still nice to be out. Not enough to be an attention holder for more than 90 mins so hot shower & called in me mums on the way home. |
