4th April 2010 Windsurfing: Rutland Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F5 Surf / Sea State: Chop Air Temperature: 12 Sea Temperature: 4? Weather: Cloudy & dry Max Speed: Distance Covered: Really enjoyable - mojo restored! Undecided between a 6.5 & 5.5 due to SW making it neccessary to judge what was going on from halfway across. Rigged the 5.5 & it was spot-on, just a few holes but mainly nicely powered up in grooveriding laketastic manner. Packed up around 2ish when the wind dropped & decided to not hang around & wait as I can go tomorrow. Most of the usual suspects there, including Bob with his new Fanatics, but not crowded - just the right crowd. Some who arrived after me felt they'd missed it but I reckon it came back (obsevation at home & websites)so joy for all. Called in the bike shop to oggle this years toys then home. |
