Windsurfing: Rutland Wind Direction: S Wind Stength: F5 Surf / Sea State: Flat-chop-wavelets Air Temperature: 15 Sea Temperature: Tolerable Weather: Cloud giving way to sun Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Arrived about midday to nothing special & rigged 6.5/103.
Normal up & down - the ups being quite strong so rigged a 5.5 as well.
Much nicer than the 6.5 in the ups & although possibly meaning more
slogging in the downs it was comfier to slog with.
Once into the scheme - slog patiently & then enjoy the stronger bits - it
was really enjoyable. The air temp crept up to a good 15c & the sun
appeared, so even though the water still very cold it really was quite
alright & I had more dunkings than yesterdays one off.
Some of the usual there - a nice buzz and an absence of anglers and sailing
boats made it our playground with plenty of room.
Totally nice experience!
