A morning session before the rain came in.
Made a sail mistake rigging a 6.4m thinking it looked like immenently
picking up, which it didn't, so plodded back to the beach and changed to a
7.4m, which was much more like it. Then it did pick up, and I had a nice
hour blasting up to Lancing and back a few times. Haven't sailed dead
onshore for a while, so some sight-seeing was nice.
Stopped as the rain arrived as it felt like the wind might die - some very
big no-wind holes, but in fact it picked right up. Right time to stop
anyway as it was miserable.
One other guy out making the most of it, no-one else in sight anywhere
along the coast. Guess everyone was waiting for the better afternoon wind!
