Took the risk and jettisoned work at lunchtime and headed for Pevensey. Arrived to find VFWMark and Mr Golden Ticket, but not a lot of wind. I reckoned it was going to be ok with big kit, so rigged 7.5m and Rocket and had a blast. There were a few holes and one half hour lull at about 5pm, but the wind came back with a vengeance in time for usurf to enjoy a bit of 6.5m action. I couldn't be arsed to change down so stuck with it and enjoyed some drag racing in the sun. First time out in a shorty today and although not exactly high octane, it was better than being in the office.
