3rd July 2010 Windsurfing: Rutland Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F5 gusting a bit more! Surf / Sea State: Chop then lumps Air Temperature: 23 Sea Temperature: Fine Weather: Mainly sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Very gusty & felt a bit of a miserable bastard for not being as ecstatic as everyone else appeared to be - I think the coast is spoiling me. Tried the 103/5.5 but it was slapping around on the chop so changed to the 86. Found my own quiet spot across the other side and played awhile before heading back then decided to play near the Whitwell shore in the worst chop & gusts. A beautiful day, all the usual suspects there, including Bob, all grinning - really enjoyable. Went into Rutland Cycling, bought a new pair of mtb shoes & had a major chin wag. |
