14th July 2010 Windsurfing: Rutland Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: F1 to F6 Surf / Sea State: Chopitty chop Air Temperature: 16 Sea Temperature: Warm Weather: Sun & P*ss down Max Speed: Distance Covered: Rutland 86/5.0 then 5.0/103 Gusty as feck - one minute hanging on with a death grip the next nearly falling in backwards. Tried the 103 to smooth through the lulls then it rained enough to give Noah a rocket and dropped to feck-all. Spat my dummy out, nearly packed up but had another quick sesh. Serves me right for breaking two of my golden rules: Don't waste precious holiday alowance on windsurfing & go to the coast once the wind reaches a certain level. It took 2.5 hours of water time for me to realise I wasn't enjoying it |
