17th July 2010 Windsurfing: Rutland Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F5 Surf / Sea State: Small chop Air Temperature: 22 Sea Temperature: Warm Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Super afternnon sesh. Nearly didn't bother & left home with misgivings expecting no wind or 'orrible gusty barely enough wind, rain & crowded water. Couldn't have been more wrong, sure there were lulls but when it blew there was plenty for a 6.5 with none of the staccatto gustiness that has plauged recent sessions there and the water was very quiet when launching at half 2ish & got quieter as the afternoon wore on. Stayed dry with a fair bit of sunshine. Sublime! |
