25th May 2011 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 25-30 knots Surf / Sea State: 3 foot surf Air Temperature: 15ºC Sea Temperature: 13ºC Weather: Sunny Max Speed: 21.57 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 17 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) A most excellent session! Well powered on my big wave board (Naish Hybrid Freewave) and 5m sail. The sun was shiniing the wind was blowing and there were waves a plenty. The waves were proper waves today with some of them steepening up nicely it perfect ramps for launching off. Needless to say there was loads of jumping going on and some pretty big ones at that too. Knees are a little sore now though, not helped by a 6 mile run along the coast path beforehand. Tom came out after I'd been on the water for an hour or so and joined in the fun for a bit.
