I'd agreed to lead a bike ride this morning so stuck with that plan and we had a good trot around home trails with conditions all very rideable, and the wind wasn't too much of a problem as we rode a fairly sheltered loop. Quick lunch then off to do battle on the water. 4.5 was about the right choice as it was one of those inland gustfest days when it's either balls out or dead stop. Fun in its own way and I'd have been twitchy if I hadn't done it.
