Our bad luck with the weather continues :( with mild weather and overcast skies !!! The the Coles family having a rest day and are off to Chamonix Mag and decided to have a 4 hour pass so drove over to Morillon.Mag and I then skied over to Les Carroz as we haven't skied many pistes here before. Although the pistes were fairly flat I found the snow very sticky :( although Mag got on fine with her shorter blades :) my skies are in need of a edge and wax !!! There are some nice red and blues into Les C. We then headed down the blue path - sarbotte - which was very beautiful but very flat making it hard going in the soft snow. We find a nice spot for our pivnic under a pine tree and were joined by twp crested tits :) We made up the Les C. cable car and plein soleil lift before our passes ran out !!! Then it was the lovely marvel run back to Morillon - we then tried the blue back down to Morillon Village which was better than the red, even if we had to take our skies off three times to cross the road !!! Back to the appartment for tea with bread and jam after taking my skis in for a service - The Coles still not back and it's raining hard here in Samoens - snow up high tomorrow ?
