Distinctly autumnal feeling to the weather with showers, sunshine and some very dark clouds. Good westerly breeze though a bit gusty at times. Out at about 11am as soon as enough beach to launch and a little underpowered on the 12m to start, but it soon filled in and by mid afternoon I had quite a lot of depower on the 12. Lots of messy waves and white water later on. Went down to Borth Lifeboat station and messed around the sea defenses for a while. Then back and up around the Dovey estuary channel marker buoys at low tide. Just a few of the regulars out and one widsurfer. Water was very warm - with the cool air the spray actually felt distinctly warm! after 5pm when I came off the water. Almost 5 stars but just needed cleaner waves.
