9th December 2016
Windsurfing: Llanfairfechan Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: F5 and F6 Surf / Sea State: small chop Air Temperature: 12 Sea Temperature: 11 Weather: light rain Max Speed: 22.8 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 15.4 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)
Wind forecast to decrease so did not travel to Rhosneigr and rigged 86l
tri/5.2m on local beach. Short tides so chop was better but 4.7m would have
been better. Some flat bits where 6m would have blasted but been miserable
everywhere else. Had a good hour and quarter before wind decreased. Water
and air felt warm. Gybes were tighter and better today and wish I'd had
this practice before Rhosneigr on Wednesday. Wind a bit offshore so a bit
gusty. Nice time today. Weather looked grim but ok sailing.
