Repairer's machine broken so he kindly lent me an old 4.2m which I rigged with 86l quad. Very well powered, with several big holes, otherwise always planing and gusts were just about manageable. Nice turns of some logo-swells and rode some inshore waves. Need to tighten turns, and go further up for top-turn. 6-batten, 15 year-old sail was not that much worse than my modern 4-batten, or maybe I am not good enough to notice :-). Good fun.
