18th August 2019 Windsurfing: Llanfairfechan Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F6-F7 Surf / Sea State: Rough Air Temperature: 18 Sea Temperature: 17 Weather: sun Max Speed: Distance Covered: Head of 4.2m sail broke when rigging so 4.7m which was just about manageable.Good fun for a couple of hours until tired. Windy and flat very close to shore for some lovely gybes. Less easy out to sea but still a few nice ones and easier when I reduced centre fin from 18 to 16cm which made only a small difference to getting upwind. Great fun and only dropped one gybe, when foot stuck in back strap from chop hammer; pleased with tha.. |
