Was planning on saving my energy for tomorrow but Martin phoned me in the morning and said he was going for a sail, so jumped in his van with him and we went to Hillhead. Wasn't looking good when we got there, but seemed to be picking up a bit. Martin went out first on a 5.8 and was just about planing so I thought I'd be OK on a 6.0.

I wasn't. Blobbed around for an hour or so, drifted lots, and several walks of shame to get back upwind. Should have rigged the 7.4 then I would have been OK. Annoyingly just as we were leaving around 2.30pm the wind seemed to be picking up. Grrrrr. All pretty miserable really with the grey skies overhead, but never mind tomorrow is looking a bit tasty....
