What a relief, I wsa beginning to think I was a wind curse after 2 months
without decent short board weather. The conditions weren't ideal with the
wind direct onshore and it being the first time I've sailed at
Overcombe.
Launched through the shore break successfully and basically set up into a
reaching pattern parallel to the shore. Plenty of jumps on both tacks and
nice gybes off the swell.
There were plenty of others out with some hotshots going for spocks and
flatwater forwards. All in all a good session and a nice sociable place to
sail. Look forward to trying this place in a South Westerly.
