After yesterday's overpowered extravaganza, with the BBC promising gusts of up to 35 mph, I took out the waveboard and a 5.0.

Gees, it's been too long since I took out a tiddler, and my technique was rusty to say the least. What didn't help is the fact that the wind was slowing dying...

Got going on the Mystery once and enjoyed it, but a bit of a slog back. Wasn't taking any chances after not managing to beachstart again so changed up to the Carve with a 5.4. Was pretty annoyed at all the faffing as only had 90 mins to spare :-(

1st reach on the bigger kit was cr*p, wind really dropped. But then it filled in for a good half hour and it was FAB! For the 1st time this week I had the right set-up for the wind, and it was great fun. It was all over WAY too soon (work), but better than not going out at all. So pleased I stayed another week at the campsite.
