13th April 2006 Windsurfing: Ynyslas, Golf course Wind Direction: SW/W Wind Stength: 14-20knts Surf / Sea State: 2-3ft Air Temperature: 12C Sea Temperature: Weather: Overcast/sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: Arrived as the rain/drizzle stopped to find it blowing F4-5 onshore. No one about so had the beach to myself. Rigged up the 6.4m and went out and had a blast up and down adjacent to the shore. Good fun jumping the broken white water on the inside and beach or water starting after any falls without risking the kit. Charlie turned up to go out kiting. After a break I helped him launch and then went back out. The wind dropped off at this point and I stayed out for a bit of a slog in the sunshine, which was pretty strong by now. Good fun, should have got up earlier ;-) |
