I'd have thought that after last Sunday's double loop round Afan, that I'd
be fitter this weekend. Not a bit of it! That climb for the first 50mins to
the top is still a killer, and pretty technical, too.
Today, there were 18 of us in the group - far too many to viably stick
together so inevitably, a couple of splinter groups formed!
We all did the new Freeride section from the top - unfortunately with a
couple of spectacular fallers (hope the ribs get better soon, Adrian). -
Brilliant!
And then several us us did the final descent of the downhill course -
great, but particularly muddy.
