Had to try to get a session in today after being stuck in the office and missing the wind all week.

On arrival it looked ok so rigged up 6.4m and big 114l board. On the water I was more than well powered up as a shower went through and had to add more outhaul. Then after a few runs the sun came out and the wind dropped, dooh.

Waited a few minutes and it filled in again around 10.30 and I rigged my 5.8m on my wave board. That wasn't enough so put the 5.8m on the 114l and was well away.

After another hour and half packed up that kit and went back for the wave board and 6.4m which was still by the water so thought I'd give that a go. By now the wind must have been 21 knots. The wave board was still good with the 6.4m, first time I'd tried that combo and it seemed to work pretty well.

Likin' my new Areon MCT 26 boom, very nice. Just need more sessions to get my water fitness up. Would be 4 stars but I'm not quite fit enough yet and I had to swop gear too much.
