The plan was to meet some guys from S. Walesa and do a nice long ride, but witht he weather looking atorcious first thing, the guys from down south decided not to bother so it was just me, Dan and Bernd.

We met at the Visitor Centre and it was pouring with rain. it looked as though it would clear so we sat in our cars for 10 minutes and then got ready once it had stopped. By the time we were going there was blue skies and it had turned into a lovely day.

We started off on the Conti Trail, and then did the MBR Trail down to the mines and back up to Angler's Retreat. Unfortunately the MXer Trails were in a pretty bad state due to forestry work and the trails elsewhere were really wet, but it didn't rain at all which was good. We didn't bother with the planned extra loop of the Summit Trail as there was only three of us and for some reason all of us were feeling fairly tired after 22 miles anyway.

A nice day out.
