Another glorious summers day so I headed across to the beach for a family day out, complete with Anna, Morgan, my parents and my niece Kia and nephew Shaun.

Once there I pumped up the inflatable canoe whilst watching the surf and the odd set looked just about surfable. It would certainly have been fun on a SUP but as I don't have one I went back home and grabbed my little fish. Back on the beach there was still the odd wave so I had a little surf session. Nothing spectacular but I did catch a few little waves.

After that we had a play in the canoe and got quite a soaking in the surf before sitting around on the beach in the sunshine.
