3rd February 2018 Hiking - Walking: Annecy Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny periods but cold. Max Speed: Distance Covered: Saturday 3rd February – Travel and walks ***** Annecy – sunny periods but cold. We all got up early and packed up and cleaned the flat. They had to leave just before 9 for their transfer bus back to Geneva. They left their stuff at the airport and went to explore the town and lake. Dan is feeling better but still looks terrible. It was emotional to see them all go. We finished off the clearing up and took the keys back then set off for the drive to Annecy. We didn’t want to go too far and it is a nice day so we had a lovely walk by the lake and parked in a free car park just along the lake from the town. Came back to the van and are going to stay here tonight. The road round the lake is a bit noisy but don’t want to go up too high because it supposed to be cold. We got lots of updates on what the others were up to and they are all either on their way or at the airport as I write this. I went up to the town in the dark to take photos but Mag stayed in the van. Photo Gallery Here |
