10th October 2019 Windsurfing: Rhosneigr Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F6 Surf / Sea State: waves Air Temperature: 15 Sea Temperature: 16 Weather: overcast Max Speed: Distance Covered: Forecast was west/onshore in morning swinging South with strengthening wind from 1pm. I turned up a bit early and had great first run out then swung more onshore bringing white water into big waves. As tide lowered wave-direction got inconsistnet. but some lovely, fairly steep, smooth waves with a long backside run into beach on a logo-wave. Some holes in wind, usally just where you need a bit of speed to choose diection out, but no walk of shame so getting better. A slightly bigger board would help in thee onshore conditions, Quite exhilirating in big waves. Guys said moring was much better, so much for foecasts. When it was good it was very good, but gusty so 3* |
