First time out with y new sail and it was a good first session. I thought the wind might be a little too light so rigged it on the 'power' setting and managed to get straight onto the plane. It was a little flukey at time and in amongst the big waves I was a little cautious as I didn't want to get caught out in amongst the waves and end up swimming, Especially with a new sail as I didn't want it getting ripped to pieces!

The wind then gradually picked up and I had some really good runs back and forth with some huge jumps too. The sail just felt really smooth, smooth power delivery, nice easy handling and smooth in the air and through the gybes too. It coped well once the wind picked up a little too and I was thinking of changing down to a 5m. I had work to do though so packed up and headed home through the rain.
