First time riding the Pendam trail and I started from Pendam itself rather than Nant-yr-Arian. First time around I was just getting to know where it went and what it was like and it took 48 mins to do the whole circuit. Second time around my legs were tiring so the uphill sections were slower, but as I now knew what to expect the downhill sections were a lot quicker and it took 45 mins.

It's a great little trail, only 9km so not too big and nothing too technical either, but the singletrack sections of the Italian Job, Hippety Hop and As High as a kite are all good fun.

There were a few other people out, but thankfully I was overtaking them rather than being overtaken! I still need to gain some strength and fitness for the uphill sections though.
