Started off with my Naish Hynrid Freewave and 5.6m sail, only to discover Simon had rigged his 4.7m and little board. All the same, I had fun blasting around well powered in decent conditions.

The wind then started to fill in and it wasn't long before I was over-powered so came in and changed down to my 4.5m. This time I was just powered up enough, but the waves had picked up by now and getting caught in a lull wasn't really an option. Luckily the wind picked up even more and I had another half an hour blasting around in some sizable seas with some nice jumps and some good wave-rides.

Then the skies turned black and started looking a little scary next there was thunder and lightning and painful hail storms, followed by the wind dropping off completely... Time to call it a day for me. Simon had the misfortune of being out in amongst the waves when the wind died so ended up with a big swim and a long walk.

Of course, as soon as I had I got back to the house and warmed up, the sun came out and the wind settled down.
