A great ride from the forestry road on the way up to Angler's Retreat, out to the chute and back.

The first bit down to the stream and across it went without incident and then we headed onto the motocross tracks and up the gulley. A couple of the puddles were deeper than they looked and then I had an off on a tricky rocky step in the middle of the gulley. Steve seemed to spend as much time off the bike as on it and then on the way back his cleat on his shoe came loose meaning he couldn't unclip and from there on he went to pot and ended up upside down a few times and stuck!

I came off again later as well when I tried to brush past the branch of a tree that was much more substantial than it looked and it spring back sending me with it!

Luckily the chute went without incident though and overall it was a really good ride. A nice easy pace, azing scenery and just the right amount of climbing along with lots of technical riding.
