        <title>Weekend of 10th - 11th - By baileyman</title>
<description>Would very much like a weekend at the beach - however our nice new van is till back at the dealers being "fixed" - I traded in a perfectly servicable van for brand spanking new crock of sh*! - they're happy to grab your cash then once they've got it they couldn't give a toss - I'll happily bore you all with the story once I get it back and finally get back to the beach !!!

        <title>Sad news:Larry retires from the water - By Pluto</title>
<description>Not logged in or been at the beach for a while so have a catch up for the new year and this news greets me - sad indeed.

I cann't add much more than the above other than I too will miss the vision Spooker has eloquently described.

Enjoy your retirement Larry, hope to see you around, perhaps on an SUP...

<title>hi im new to surfing... - By justal</title>
<description>As the others say it all depends where you are and what mood the sea is in... However, in relation to other water-sports then surfing is probably one of the least dangerous if you are sensible about when and where you go.

As long as you know the dangers and stick within your abilities then it should be a fairly safe sport. There is always potential for something to go wrong though so play safe.
