Loxley - 6-11-2007 at 12:22

Hi Neil,

i will be over to Borth friday night if the wind keeps up a promise of anything over 10knots.

will my new van fit under the barrier at the golf links or will you be parking up somewhere else ?

Mark

mNeil - 6-11-2007 at 13:19

Mark if the gate is locked either park up on the road side till one of us arrive or check to see if somone is in, if so they will have a key for the lock. Andy B usually arrives around 7.30 ish. i will U2U my mobile. often i go towards the estuary and park up in the visiters centre car park on the left.

Spooker - 6-11-2007 at 13:24

Fart Boy - 6-11-2007 at 22:35

I'm now thinking of making the trip. Dyfi side for me.

jon d hat - 6-11-2007 at 22:57

Hey Mark, Nwesterly should be good on the dark side! why not come over and show us how your T4 project is getting on

Fart Boy - 7-11-2007 at 07:29

Migtht do but I may have someone with me who is learning so may benefit from the lagoons. I do feel a visit to the dark side coming on though.

Encee - 7-11-2007 at 07:36

High tide at 8.04 on sat so by mid morning, the lagoons will be on for the rest of the day. Lagoons at YnYslas work really well in NWerly. You can run right down into the estury and all the way out to the bar safely. Bit of a walk from the carpark though unless you park in the estury...defo worth a punt...just wan't to check your bus really

danh - 7-11-2007 at 10:49

Day trip to dyfi is on, on saturday i reckon

Fart Boy - 7-11-2007 at 17:21

Jon I will have a word. Could always pop over to the dark side Sunday as long as the ale limit is not exceeded Saturday night.

shem - 7-11-2007 at 17:33

Should be a busy weekend then, Ill be teaching, but should squeeze a quick sesh in. Thats if I have any energy left after a full week of riding, hehe!

justal - 7-11-2007 at 17:58

Don't know where you got your wind from today Shem... It dropped off here around 9am and never really came back... I'm sure being a mile further south can't make that much difference.

Although there were a few kiters out so I guess there was enough for them.. Mind you I guess with a bigger sail I would have been OK.

Al.

shem - 7-11-2007 at 18:39

Thats mad, we had sand absolutly howling up the beach all day, I sailed from 10.30-1.30, and I was pretty much de powered on my kite the whole time. It was easy 20 knots as a minimum. Very wierd indeed!!!???

col123 - 7-11-2007 at 19:06

should be up sat, won't be there till mid morning as working/sleeping nights....some nice new shiny toys to play with too

I guess it was about the same here... But if it drops below 25 knots then there isn't enough for me with my 5m sail so it was probably the same.

Today looks more promising.

Al.

crut - 8-11-2007 at 12:01

I might poke my head around the beach this weekend.

shem - 11-11-2007 at 22:04

Fart boy gets my award for most hours spent on the water. Good effort, it was hurting having to teach all day watching you, Bar steward!

crut - 12-11-2007 at 07:39

Great day. Aching but smiling

crezzee - 12-11-2007 at 10:21

Yeah sunday was a top day, did my first backflip kite loop - unintentionally of course.

Fart Boy - 12-11-2007 at 19:17

Yes but those hours have caught up with me today. I loved that the 9m and the hieght I was getting was sweet!
