Meanwhile there are loads of blade II, blade I and even Vipers going for half as low as half price.

Flexifoil must have done a great job on the blade III then?

hey mexicanbandit yeah they've done a good job with them they are so much smoother than the blade i or ii
but flexifoil have a really long waiting list at the moment, even tho i have some contacts within flexifoil its not possible. our shop sells flexifoil stuff and i get a huge discount on products so thats why im gonna wait, i wouldnt mind getting a blade 2 coz ive seen them going for around 150 -220 quid (2nd hand) but my boyf has his heart set on the blade iii

I'd just go with the Blade II. You'd save some money and get it straight away so you could go out to play.

As it is I've got a 4.9m Blade I and that does the job just perfectly. I've had it a few years now and its a pretty nice kite.

I have seen the Blade III listed in some shops (not sure if they have them in stock though). £289 for the 4.9m without lines and handles or £322 with lines and handles.... How does that sound??

Yeah mixed reports of the Blade III, I've seen the 6.6 and 8.5 flying and they needed a surprising amount of wind just to fly. Some people love them, others changed back to Blade IIs

The general consensus is they turn more quickly and produce more power size for size and the power is a little smoother but are general less stable and luff more easily.

The 4.9 Blade I and II are virtually identical, have flown them back to back and apart from extended gauze to nearer the tips and change in colours they're the same.

What does your Boyfriend want the kite for? Boarding, buggying or general flying and jumping? The Blade is probably still the best allrounder but there are kites out there better in specific areas.

hey adam yeah boyf is gonna use it for boarding where as im gonna use it for general flying, jumps, and later on buggying well i have to sell kites at work and the blade is what i reccomend for all rounders, i wont sell a begginner anything over a 4.9 coz it d be too much.

damm forgot to write above yeah al thanx for that advice i can get the blade iii 4.9 for around #349 with lines and handles or #369 with the carbon bar with discount it s about #270 with the bar so if i do get the blade iii its well worth the wait in the meantime we're getting a fire bee 6.5 on the cheap for bout 90 quid probably be too much fore me tho coz im quite light and the blade 2 6.4 takes me up soo easily and i dont think i can handle that jus yet.

It's a shame no one sells them here in the continent - would like to see one in action before comiting.

Zelwaters... You'll have to post some photos of you and your Blade III in action soon.
