I've got tickets for the championship jump final on sunday. Quite excited about it after missing last years.

I was temped to go but thought it was a bit of a rip off having to pay to get into the show then pay again to see the windsurfing
And I know if I did go there would be lots of real wind outside!

Ive been down. Not as many "fun sport " stalls as usual. No kite manufacturers at all!!Strange. Dont know much about wind surfing, but Im sure there was more kit at the board wise demo at Borth!!

Good to go down and have a look around though. cant wait until I win the lottery, so that I can order my 46ft, Catermaran!!

I must remember to get a lotto ticket on Saturday....

I'm more interested in the Jump final in the pool than buying anything.

Last year was quite good fun to meet the pro's and get autographed posters...

Make sure to turn up if they do a signing session. Last year it was in a cafe near to the pool entrance.

Thanks Andy - I'll look out for that.

So, what was the show like then?

And were there any really nice toys that stood out from the crowd?

Enjoyed the show. Freestyle was great and there were some really good jumps. The slalom is a bit manic, but got quite exciting, and a Brit won

It was a bit horrible when the jumps went wrong, but there were only two crashes on the ramp.

Didn't see any kit that was particularly exciting. There is a lot of emphasis on wide-style (dingies mascarading as windsurfers).

I thought the windsurfing part of the show was very dissapointing and thats what I was there for. Not that much kit on display, mainly shops that you can visit anytime. JP/Pryde had a large display with a bit of kit but was so buisy it was difficult to get a good look.

I spose I was expecting the manufacturers to be there with guys you could discuss your next possible purchase with, instead it was shops and importers alot if not having anything to do with winsurfing (tools, gadgets etc)

The indoor windsurfing was very good. Went on the Last Sunday and saw all three events. This cost £6 in advance for each show and they were selling the tickets on the door for 3 friggin quid, I was livid cause there was loads of spare seats available!
This was a total rip off and I will definatly not be doing it again.

A good day out on a windless day but a little dissapointing......
