jon d hat - 21-8-2006 at 19:56

Lets get this show on the road.. Where to go. Well there was more wind comin out of Woosh's a*%#e on Saturday night than is forcast for this wkend...But wern't we saying that about this time last wk?

Well if the last 2 August bank holidays are anything to go by then its gona be hoooolin..Ahh ever the optimist I hear you say...Well if I werent, then I'd have stayed at home last w/end an missed out on a stonkin session!!

Well if it aint windy, theres always the Dovey Hotel, burstin at the seems with summer revelers and a pretty good pint too!

See you there then

I really hope it comes true on Sunday. Everybody must be on thier best behaviour from now till then.

darren byrne - 22-8-2006 at 15:28

I'm down Woolacombe for a week and a bit from Friday so I'm hoping all the wind is down there. Foreacast ain't too bad actually. See ya in a couple of weeks.

Nick - I thought you were heading that way for Bank Holiday???

nick-r - 22-8-2006 at 19:05

darren...i wanted to. but could'nt persuade anyone else it was the best place to be.......c ya soon dude...have a good week.

latest forecast is saying pants for the weekend..

Jonny - 22-8-2006 at 21:50

Jus looked at all the foreasts for the weekend; Sunday looks like the day. Some forecasts aren't showing that much but theres some correlation for stronger winds and it definately looks the strongest day of the week. One forecast predicts flying winds of 35 knots in the West of England/Wales. That should mean 25-30 knots at ground level. Roll on the weekend!

Hammer Head - 22-8-2006 at 22:04

i am hopeing to make a visit to you at borth for a day trip
all being well on the weather.

justal - 23-8-2006 at 05:44

Yeah forecasts are still all over the place, I don't think anyone knows what will happen. Looks as though there is going to be one windy day, ut at the moment it looks as though it may not arrive until Monday.. Or, it could just be one of those phantom windy days on the forecasts that alwasy stays 4 days ahead of us!

The best thing to do is go to the coast for a nice weekend on the beach and take it as a bonus if there's wind.

Totally agree. How you suppose to plan your work round it!

shem - 25-8-2006 at 09:54

Roll on winter I cant wait!!!!!!

Kitefish - 25-8-2006 at 11:37

Hmm What will it do?

XC is suggesting some wind for Saturday. I reckon it could be good, especially if you see what is forecast for West Ireland and Scotland. The weather don't look to bad either, not enough sun for the hoards to pack the beach which is ideal

So with NW forecast are we Pikies or Massif?

Won't be over til Saturday.

danh - 25-8-2006 at 11:49

Forecasts are doing my head in, im absolutely skint so dont wanna make the journey if its gonna be pants. But no one seems to be saying the same thing. Think i might just make a day trip on monday

justal - 26-8-2006 at 08:42

Plenty of wind out there at the moment for those of you still trying to decide.
