Dave and I arrived aronund 10am as I thought there might be a few people down here today, but had the floods to ourselves for a couple of hours. Dave and I rigged 7.5s which was perfect until 1pm, but then the wind kicked in more blowing around F5, so I rigged my 6.3 which was great though slightly overpowered. Had an exactly afernoon just blasting back and forth. Each reach was 0.25 miles by my Gps. My top speed was 28mph and total distance of 22miles.
I still rate this one of the best places to sail in the midlands, by the end of the day we were well overpowered and would have been comfortable on 5.0m. It was one of those days where we packed up and the wind was still pumping, blowing a constant 6 as we left!

Cool... This sounds like fun... Did you post any photos? They would be good to see.

Aha... You've uploaded some now... It does look pretty good. If only there was always that much water there!
