Where are the Bodyboard books hiding?
Airborne - 7-12-2003 at 10:48

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone knows any good bodyboarding books, and where i can find them. I've looked everywhere, even on Ebay, and all i could find was a bodyboarding/snowboarding/skating book by some random guy. It seemed like a poor book and it was published in Australia and wouldn't supply it to Britain...so that was a waist of time!

If anyone does know of any good bodyboarding books eg. tips, pics, methods or just anything on bodyboarding.
Please could you tell me.

Thanks from Airborne.

Hi there!

Im having the same problem. The only solution I have come up with is 360 Magazine. It has previously given away a bodyboarding manual, which although it wasn't coffee table book material it provided excellent articles on techniques, methods and the best places in britain to go.
If your interested you could see if you could get a back issue of it;

If anyone else out there knows of any nice glossy books i'd be happy to know aswell!

Welcome back Airborne. Have you been out on the water much??

I still haven't done the bodyboard questionairre for you. Usual story of too much work, too much wind, too many waves and just not enough time.

Not much out there to do with bodyboarding as a main subject, just as for surfing only worse.

If you are loking for "how to" books then most times you find bodyboarding as a part within a surfing one.

However I must say how to surf books are not that good. I prefer the sections within magazines, better photos, not some where neon colours where the craze.

Try getting some of your friend to write to some of the mags requesting a bodyboarding basics supplement. couple of the mags.

Yeah! Good idea mexican bandit. I could write to threesixty bodyboarding mag...or just sit around waiting for a tutorial video/DVD!
