just a couple of hours spent on the mountainboard but fun ..tried out a 15m peter lynn bomba kite, new to these shores and although when we tested it the wind was doing no more than a ants farts worth the kite still flew, and it just seemed to sit there.

to look at the bomba from behind it is fat on the wing tips (giving it its stability) but thin in the middle (giving it speed and lift)...sort of a dickie bow tie shape...when compared to a 13 m guerilla which i was mountain boarding with the 15m bomba is smaller on win span but about half as deep again..

hopefully give it a water test this weekend if Al provides the wind that is...col

Col...That sounds like a pretty strange looking kite. Did you get any photos of it?

I'm working on the wind for the weekend. At the moment the forecasts don't look great, but that could be a good thing as they are never right!!

Al.

Col...

I'm planning on being back at Ynyslas on Saturday night, so should be on the beach Sunday... I'm in Bristol at the mo and it looks as though I'll be missing a good session tomorrow... COuld have gone out at WSM but haven't brought a wetsuit with me... Think it still a little early in the year to go out without it!!
