ok..Finally i have narrowed it down to 3 kites!

Ok guys cheers for all the replies in the last few posts!!! I have narrowed my search down to 3 kites
1) Naish ARX 14m
2) Slingshot fuel 15m
3) Flexifoil storm 12m
They are all roughly £150 and in good nick. Which one does everyone think would be most suitable for a confident learner with a lot of kite flying experience and 2 days worth of lessons? This will hopefully be the last annoying post!!! The next will be advise on backlooping I promise!!!

The storms great all rounder, but then the 15 is a great summer kite. If its going to be your only kite for now, Id probably go the 12. If you get a biggish board, you can still get up and riding in about 12 knots.

Good luck.

Shem although he says he's a complete beginner I've seen him fly a kite before and he'll be OK...He's also the best windsurfer we've seen sailing here (probably!) so will be one of those annoying people who will be better than us at kitesurfing within a few weeks!!

I don't want to encourage you to get a bigger kite than you need Richie, but for lighter winds (12-16 knots) the 15m Storm should be fine (especially for £150). Of course you'll probably end up getting a 12m once you get the hang of it as well which then cover you for windspeeds up until you can get out windsurfing with a 5.5m sail.

Just take it easy to start with if you get the bigger kite.

Al.
