Hi all, new topic i randomly thought of.

I always notice if i cut back or do a little nudge or dip my nose slightly forward i sometimes get an unexpected splash of spray on my face, as well as this happening the board also seems to loose a bit of power. Any explanation for this sudden spray, or is it just me?

I always thought it might be either the waves shape just cutting the board edge and spraying, or maybe my board nose hits the water at and angle when i push down...but that doesnt seem to be the reason.

Another thing i have noticed is when you've finished the ride and you get chucked out with the whitewater of the wave and sometimes you continue with it, the board has a split second of speed loss almost like the power part of the whitewater suddenly moves under and in front of you, but then you pick up speed again, thats usually when i spin round to paddle out again.
