Where can I buy cheap Kites? (water launchable)

Adam...Where are the best places for cheap kites at the mo??? You usually have you finger on the pulse kite-wise.

I did start posting a reply yesterday but my battery died halfway through writing

There's a lot of good deals on Flexifoil Storms at the moment as the Storm II will be coming out soon, check out:

http://www.powerkiteshop.com

or

http://www.extremekiteshop.com

They also have deals on Takoon kites.

Or take a look at the BKSA website you may be able to pick up a decent used one

http://www.kitesurfing.org/

Theres also a load of info on learning and stuff on there too.

If its going to be your first kite I'm not surprised the shop wouldn't sell you one!

Have you flown them before? If not learn the basics on a smaller kite that you won't trash if you crash it on the beach. Several companies make trainer kites that fly on a bar.

If you do go big to start with start in light winds and try and go with someone who knows what they're doing
