Too windy for you???

Whats happened to all the kiters, I've just looked through the diaries for the last few days (which have been pretty windy it has to be said) and its almost all windsurfing sessions and very few kiting sessions listed.

Must admit I was out there windsurfing rather than kitesurfing, but it looks as though many of the kitesurfers decided to give it a miss...

There were a few people kiting at Borth both today and yesterday though, but it makes a change these days for there to be just as many windsurfers out (almost!)

Al.

ok Al it was ,we thought going to be very windy indeed and for us a 250 mile round trip by the birmingham navy was not worth the risk.anyway got a lot of work done on the new bathroom;or it would be new if i did not go k/surfing so much.anyway ended up with two good lungs full to the brim with paint fumes!
see you all next week regards neil.s

Must fill in the diaries!

Went out Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Yesterday and used nothing bigger than a 2.5m for any session!

Should really have gone windsurfing but haven't been for ages so would have got hammered!

Saturday was strongest; we had 48 mph av. winds with up to 70 gusts, I was using a 0.7 PKD Buster and admit to being scared silly by it a couple of times and lifted out.

My mate was buggying with one stacker 6 and getting upwind easily. All good fun
