Is that Cayton? I was windsurfing at Fraisthorpe on Friday, scored some nice wave sailing conditions in the afternoon after the tide turned. Must have been a good swell running for it to wrap round Flamborough head and still give upto 6ft where I was, the sand bar off the headland looked massive. Do you surf in this area?

It's Sandsend but not recently.

Yeah, this week, just gone, did have some good waves didn't it? Saturday was particularly tasty which was good 'cos I was showing a foreign friend I met on Sydney's Northern Beaches, a year ago, what the surf in Yorkshire can be like.
