help and advice

HI all just joined your forum. I am looking for help. At the moment I fly on land, But am desperate to get on the water. Can you give me any advice on kit and where to start. I have seen loads of kit on e bay but just don't know what to even look at. Iam 6'3'' and 15 stone.

Best advice is to get a lesson to at least get some of the safety sorted.

Do you fly depower and board on land? If so it will help a bit too.

I had to sell my kit last year shortly after starting as I blew my car up but now got a kite and looking for a board to carry on this summer.

As a guide a 13-14m std C shaped kite is a good size to start if having one kite or an 11-12m new style Bow/flat kite and at least 140 x 40 board, maybe a bit bigger so can learn it lightish winds.

But a lesson would be the best place to start

The best thing you could do is go and see the guys at RUSH EXTREME in swansea, as your in that area. Theyll give you advice, and they do lessons as well. Dont go buying the first thing you see on e-bay, a lot of it is very old and well over priced. Alternatively if you fancy a trip up here check out www.kitesurfwales.co.uk.
